Peace Beyond Understanding

At times I am uncertain, my future seems unclear
Sometimes I'm wrapped in worry, sometimes I'm gripped by fear
At times I'm deeply sadden and feel like I'm alone
It's then I look toward Heaven and remind myself that's home.

Sometimes the world around me is all that I can see -
Blinded by the endless tasks that lie in front of me.
But when I reach a moment that I'm sure I can't go on -
It's then I turn away and rest in the loving arms of God.

And then the world around me I no longer see.
The endless tasks, once burdens, are no concern to me.
For God somehow refreshes my soul that had grown dry -
And the answers just don't matter to the questions asking why.

Peace beyond understanding is a gift God gives to me.
He opens up my heart to truth so my eyes can clearly see.
And in the briefest moment and for all eternity
Gods breaks the chains that bind me and truly sets me free.

Peace beyond Understanding ... is a gift God gives to me.

Love is ...

Love is patient, love is kind.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,

it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
